About

Two people, four cats, and a lot of websites.

We build websites for people who have been putting theirs off. That’s the whole business, and we’re genuinely good at it.

We did this once before, and it went quiet. Hostperia started as a side project and then stopped being one, the way most side projects stop: corporate got heavy, weekends disappeared, and a business that only moved when we pushed it stopped moving.

We’re putting that on our About page on purpose. It’s the reason this version has a real process, a fixed three-week window, and support that doesn’t end at launch. Not motivation. Structure.

If you have an idea that’s been sitting in a notes app for two years, we’re not going to judge you for it. We’ve been you.

Hello and meow!

A process designed to make this feel easy.

01 DISCOVERY + DIRECTION. We start with a conversation about your business, your audience, and what you want your website to do. We’ll help turn your ideas into a clear direction.

02 CONTENT + DESIGN. We’ll guide you through the content we need, then turn your ideas into a website that feels like you—and works for your business.

03 BUILD + LAUNCH. We build, refine, and prepare everything for launch. You’ll know what’s happening, what’s needed from you, and when your site is going live.

Who we’re for?

We’re a good fit if you sell something and you’re tired of explaining where to find you. Coaches, creators, consultants, photographers, small businesses. Usually five or six pages, usually someone who has been meaning to do this for a while.

We’re probably not your people if you want the cheapest site possible, or fifteen pages by Friday. We take a small number of builds at a time, on purpose. You get attention instead of a queue position.

Pen + Ria

Pen Alvarez

I’m the one you meet first. I run discovery, ask the questions that turn a vague idea into a page list, and design the front end. Years in customer support and technical account management before this, which mostly means I like untangling messes. Four cats, all of whom consider themselves editors.

Ria Yu

Ria is the technical half: back end, the parts that have to actually work, and the troubleshooting when something breaks at 11pm. If your site is fast, secure, and still standing a year from now, that’s her.
